Hardware Features:
1. VCal™ Data Acquisition Module
Internal storage capability for test data storage, tracking, print-out, certificates and analysis such as signature and graphic analysis;
Internally integrated data acquisition program and related documents;
Dual ±20 bit signal condition sensor inputs, which supports up to 5mV/V full bridge input with built in 5VDC bridge excitation;
Supports sensors with amplified output such as ±10 VDC or 4-20 mA;
Built-in Shunt Cal measurement and Scaling for each input channel. Software selectable. Also supports external Shunt Cal resistors (3 internal, 1 external);
Provides one temperature input;
Built-in resistance measurement capability for bridge measurement and trouble shooting;
Two quick disconnect receptacles for sensor connections (with mV/V inputs), and two sets of screw terminals for sensors with amplified output;
Sensor auto-recognition capability;
USB connection to computer;
On/off power switch;
Can be used independently for 2 channel testing, and stacked with other VCalTM Modules for additional channels.

2. Reference Sensors
Built-in Auto recognition and NIST traceable calibration test;
Most Futek sensors can be used as reference sensors*;
Can be provided with required cable assembly;

Software Features:
Intuitive and user-friendly interface;
Compatible with Windows 2000 based computers and programs such as LabView;
The program supports data exports to excel for further analysis & graph supports & endurance or long term zero track testing;
Built-in calculators for Zero Offset, Span Adjustment, and Unit Conversion;
Additional built-in functions for trouble-shooting strain gage based sensors and revalidating overloaded sensors;
Supports Linearity, Hysteresis & Repeatability testing with user defined loading points;
Supports multi component testing with crosstalk check capability;
Supports multi range calibration records for reference sensor;
Allows manual entry of recorded test data from a previously calibrated reference sensor or test sensors;
Provides 3rd order real time Linearization of Reference Sensor;
Re-calibration alerts;
Overload warning & log reports;
Automated or manual test input;
User customized printout and certificate;
Choice of saving and maintaining test data in VCalTM Data Acquisition Module or on customer’s own computer.

All test data, reports and certificates can be stored, reviewed, and printed out via Internet;
Logs all sensor overloads and automatically notifies user of re-calibration every time VCalTM module is connected to Internet;
